Amazing 'Sansibar Safari' experience!

I think they do offer individual trips, so you might be able to tweak a group one. Worth asking them directly, they seem pretty good about that kind of stuff.

They mention 'individual trips' on their site. My friend wanted to extend a Namibia safari and they sorted it for her, so I reckon an extra day in Porto should be doable. Might cost a bit extra though.

My sister did the Iceland one in winter. She said it was packed but in a good way, like every day had cool stuff. She didn't feel rushed at all, just tired from all the exploring lol.

Looking at the South Africa Garden Route tour. How does Explorer compare to like, TUI or Gebeco for these kinds of trips? Is it worth going with Explorer instead?

I did a safari with Explorer and my friend went with TUI for something similar. Explorer felt a bit more focused on the 'adventure' part and smaller groups, which I liked. TUI can be more mass-market sometimes.

Explorer seems to have more unique itineraries sometimes, at least for the cultural tours. For a big classic like the Garden Route, I'd compare the exact inclusions and group sizes. Might be better value with Explorer if you want a less 'package deal' feel, afaik.
